Faux Women Shouldn’t Compete with Women

Call me what you want—a homophobe, a transgender hater, out of touch, old-fashioned, whatever. But I’ll say it bluntly. There are only two genders. Male and female, depending on your plumbing at birth.

If you believe anything else, you’re demented! Or you’ve been indoctrinated – brainwashed—by the ignorant and those on the far left.

If you believe genetic men can have babies or menstrual cycles, you’re beyond help. The argument goes that if a woman who declares herself a man, then he/she can have a baby. If you buy into that, you need a shrink. If you think men who claim to be women should participate in female sports, you need two shrinks, maybe three.

Women athletes train long and hard to become the best in their sport. To compete against other women. How disgraceful is it that for all their hard work, they are pitted against transgender men who steal what should be a prize from those women? No amount of training will enable them to compete with men. Women generally are not as strong as men, especially in upper body strength.

Men who claim to be women are trouncing women in all sports from weightlifting to basketball to swimming. You name it. But the worst of it is woman boxing men who transition/pretend to be women. The only sports transgenders should compete with are with genetically like-bodied athletes.

I used to follow boxing closely because I was an amateur boxer when I was young. I no longer do because I don’t think there is an American boxer in any weight class who can hold any of the “weight” crowns. So, I just lost interest.

But I’ve seen some of these female boxers. They’re tough. They hit hard and can take a punch. But climbing into the ring with a male boxer is almost certainly going to be a disaster and can result in serious damage.

A case I point. In 2014, Fallon Fox, the first MMA—Mixed Martial Arts fighter to come out as a transgender woman, challenged Tamikka Brents to a match at the CCCW—Capital City Cage Wars. Brents was considered one of the best female boxers and transgender Fox was 45 years old. But the fight lasted a little over two minutes before the referee stopped it. Brents was brutally beaten.

She needed seven stitches to her head and suffered from a concussion. Even the orbital bone in her skull was fractured. It was her last MMA fight, even though the Florida athletic commission cleared her to continue in women’s MMA—women and men Several experts and some of her and fellow competitors opposed her getting a license to fight again.

She later said, “I’ve fought a lot of women and never felt the strength that I felt that night … I never felt so overpowered in my life and I am an abnormally strong woman in my own right.”

And, by the  way, what kind of man would take pride in defeating a woman? I’d be ashamed and I’m ashamed that organizations like the MMA sanction these events.

It has got to stop.

What say you?
