The mainstream media is corrupt! They prove it almost every day. That’s why most Americans—probably even some Democrats—have such a low opinion of it. That has become blatantly obvious especially in this election cycle. It drools over Kamala Harris and now her Vice President pick Minnesota Governor Time Walz.
Kamala-Walz are trying to create a balance of different races and genders. But their policies are a pretty much the same. Walz is especially “progressive” on abortion on demand, on pushing “gender-affirming care” for kids and giving illegal immigrants with taxpayer-funded benefits like free college.
The media will say Walz represents “Midwestern values,” and then you see he supported tampon machines in the male bathrooms in public schools. They will say that Walz is a Libertine Leftist who will be well received by rural conservative voters.
Former Democratic Senator Clare McCaskill referred to him, as “mac and cheese” and a “trip to the hardware store.” “The idea that Time Walz is some lefty is just not true in reality. He got elected in a district that was very moderate… He is definitely somebody who is absolutely more moderate than people are giving him credit for right now.”
In other words, just your average midwestern Joe. She said he’s the man JD Vance pretends to be.
She’s not alone. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that "To characterize him as left is so unreal," she said. "He's right down the middle. He's a heartland of America Democrat."
California Governor Gavin Newsome said “Tim Walz is about doing the right thing. Whether it’s free school means or standing up against gun violence – he’s never intimidated. He’s about he’s about honor and dignity.”
Adam “Shiffty” Shiff had this to say. “Governor Waltz will be a perfect complement to the Harris ticket and a hugely effective on the campaign trail. With his plain-spoken demeanor, her knows how to advocate common sense policies that improve the lives of all Americans.”
The mainstream media is fawning over Walz, making him out to be a moderate and your everyday American. For instance, on CBS, Gayle King buttered up Walz, saying “There’s something appealing about this guy … who is as comfortable talking in a T-shirt and baseball cap as he is talking in a suit, as he is talking in a tuxedo.”
Robert Costa, a political reporter who is the chief election and campaign correspondent for CBS News, said Walz seems like an amiable fellow, “he can crack a joke, talks about the hot dish up in Minnesota, that famous casserole, can talk about fishing.”
On MSNBC, Molly Jong-Fast tried to counter Walz’s radicalism with Midwestern practices: “He ice fishes. He’s a hunter. He does butter carving….he’s a rural person.” This contradicts Walz’s biography about teaching high school in Mankato, Minnesota. “In 1999, Walz agreed to be the faculty advisor of Mankato West High School's first gay–straight alliance.” Kamala Harris referred to him a high school football coach. Makes it sound like he was the head coach. He wasn’t. He was the defensive coach.
You can't hide a left-wing record by wearing a baseball hat or a T-shirt. You can’t make yourself out to be a typical Midwesterner by carving butter and shoving a bratwurst into your mouth or going ice fishing. That won’t change him from his socialist and even Marxist policies.
On August 8 the New York Times had a headline that Walz was “Extraordinarily Ordinary: Walz’s Path to Prominence.” The subhead was “A Swing-State Plan, Clad in Plain Talk and Carhartt.” Times reporter Lisa Lerer swooned that Democrats hope “Brat summer, the lime-green pop-culture meme for Ms. Harris’s campaign, can translate into the kind of brat summer that evokes a staple of Midwestern barbecues.”
Lerer noted that Walz was endorsed by Bernie Sanders, and that Republicans won't let Walz's "casual style and folksy, flat Midwestern vowels alone pass for moderate views."
The New York Times is often referred to as “The Newspaper or Record” or “The Old Grey Lady.” But it is not. The problem is that what it prints on its first page is often the lead story on ABC, NBC and NBC.
