Lot of Questions about Trump Assassination Attempt

So, they tried to kill Trump. Did that surprise anyone? They tried everything else. Lawfare, the Russia hoax, the raid at Mar-a-Lago, the Kangaroo Court in New York, and on and on. None of it worked. The Dems and their regime media did everything they could to stop him, and Trump is still leading in the polls. The “Blue Wall” states are beginning to crumble.

My guess is the assassination attempt and that now iconic photo of Trump with blood streaming down his cheek and holding up his defiant fist will clinch the election for him. He showed courage, determination and grace under pressure.

I am not a conspiracy nut. I believe Lee Harvey Oswold alone killed JFK. I don’t believe there were shooters on the grassy knoll. I believe RFK was killed by Sirhan Sirhan and no one else. My feeling about conspiracies is that it’s hard enough for just two people to keep a secret let alone the dozens of people who would have had to be involved in these events.

Yet, there are questions to be answered. Number one being, what the hell happened? How could the shooter have gotten to the top of that building less than 200 yards from where Trump was standing? That distance is no big deal. In the Marines, we had to fire from 500 yards and hit our target—without a scope or range finder, only adjusting our sights for windage and elevation.

Why didn’t the secret service snipers see him? Why wasn’t that building roof inspected prior to the shooting? Is it true that the secret service snipers needed permission to fire. I thought in a situation like that, the protocol was to shoot first and ask questions later.

Is it true that Trump’s secret service detail asked for additional personnel, and it was refused. Is it true that some of Trump’s security people were transferred to protect Jill Biden, who was giving a speech in Pennsylvania that day? None of that is improbable, especially considering that U.S. House Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., on April 19, said that the Trumps should be stripped of secret service protection.

But the big question is: If the secret service knew—for 26 minutes (or perhaps more)—before the assassin started shooting and that the shooter had a clear line of sight toward the stage, why didn’t they block that line of sight with campaign signs, flags or anything else that would have cut off his view.

An even BIGGER question: Given that situation, why did even they let Trump get on the stage?

Now, the investigation begins. The FBI is investigating, the secret service is investigating, the state and local police are investigating. But they’re already in CYA mode. On Monday Congress will begin asking questions to the leaders in those agencies. I’d bet nothing comes of it. You’ll hear lies, non-answers, misdirection, evasion and stonewalling. No one will be fired. The swamp will protect them.
